In order to retrieve your password, you should have valid information entered for your administrative domain contact.
- Go to https://www.haveyourdomain.com/
- In the right sidebar click the link under "Management" marked "Lost Password?"
- Enter your domain name in the box
- Click the "Submit" button
Whomever you have listed as the Administrative Contact will receive an email with the login credentials. The email looks like this:
Subject: Login Information for domain.com
Date: Thu, 20 Oct 2011 14:33:09 -0400 (EDT)
From: <hostmaster@netsville.com>
To: <you@domain.com>
This note contains the login information necessary to manage your domain.
NOTE: Please keep this information strictly secret. Anyone with access to the login/password
can change all information regarding this domain, including ownership.
